Alive Belfast 2022 is now over!
After two years where our annual Alive Belfast outreach had to be restricted because of covid, it was great to be able to return to our normal format and welcome Pastor David Ham back to our pulpit to present the gospel at our Alive Belfast outreach.
Running over a shorter period of just 3 days this year, we were blessed with great worship, testimonies, and of course the ministry of God’s Word by Pastor David Ham, and in turn God blessed by drawing people to Himself and saving souls, including loved-ones that have been prayed for.
Adding both the choir, and additional worship singers to our regular worship teams gave an excellent start to the service with great worship, and our thanks to all who served in this capacity.
Thanks also to Daniel and Eva for sharing their testimonies, the Tabernacle Choir for their ministry on Sunday morning, and Jonathan, Rebecca and Stephen, and Kezia for ministering during the evening services.
No outreach would have been complete without hitting the streets of Belfast, and for weeks beforehand teams were out giving out invites to come and hear the gospel. Thanks to everyone who supported this effort. We also had a great open-air time at corn-market in Belfast with many people receiving invites.
Finally, it all started with a week of prayer – and we pay tribute to the many who rose early and came along to the early morning prayer meetings asking the Lord for His blessing and guidance.
Alive Belfast doesn’t just happen. It took around 150 volunteers to make it all run smoothly. So whether you were on the stage area, singing or playing an instrument, on the body of the floor as a steward or camera operator, or behind the scenes – serving in our creches, looking after the carparks, working in our tech crew, serving tea and coffee, cleaning the building, praying with people in the Magee room, presenting to our online congregation, and much more besides – thank you for your service. This isn’t simply service to Whitewell, this is service to God, and He is no man’s debtor.
