Christmas, above all, is the season we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Often it gets clouded with gifts, festivities, and so much more. At its core, however, it is a remembrance that Jesus left all the glories and wonders of heaven to come to earth, in order to save men and women from a destiny in outer darkness without God.
So we celebrate this time of year, as a time of hope, and we’d love you to come along to Whitewell this Christmas as we remember the reason for the season.
Here’s what’s on at Whitewell this Christmas:
Sunday Morning 22nd December 11:00am: Sunday Morning Worship Service and Breaking of Bread.
Sunday Night 22nd December 6:30pm: Carol Service. There’s lots happening this year – from our worship teams, the Tabernacle Choir, Drama, Guest Singers, and of course a Christmas Message – and we finish it off with a bit of fun for the children.
*Please note the slightly earlier starting time.
Monday Night 23rd December 8:00pm: Prayer Meeting is taking place in the building. There’s no online prayer meeting on 23rd December.
Christmas Morning 25th December 10:00am – A special one-hour Christmas Service as we celebrate the coming of the Lord Jesus into this world.
Christmas Sunday 29th December: Our Christmas Sunday Services are at the normal times of 11:00am and 6:45pm.
New Year’s Eve: Watchnight Service. We’re meeting for tea, coffee and fellowship at 10:00pm, and then our Watchnight Service begins at 10:45pm, and finishes around midnight. There’s worship, testimonies, a look back at 2024, and a message from God’s word to bring us into the new year.
Wednesday 1st January: There will no Bible Study on Wednesday 1st January.
Sunday 5th January: Normal Sunday Services at 11.00am and 6.45pm
So, Join us - come along and hear the good news at this special time of year!
